

Bayan Palace Conference Centre – Kuwait National Government
A bespoke multilingual conference system was designed and installed at Kuwait’s Bayan Palace, combining high-end delegate units, integrated translation facilities, and advanced audiovisual technology. The solution delivered seamless communication, live broadcasting, and an enhanced delegate experience within a prestigious international conference setting.
OBJECTIVES
The Bayan Palace, opened in 1986 for the Fifth Arab League Summit, is one of Kuwait’s finest architectural achievements, spanning 1.4 million square meters. It serves as the primary venue for international conferences in the country.
The Council consists of 39 elected members, representing fifteen electoral wards. Eight of the wards elect three members each. The other seven elect two each. The council is elected by thirds, with the most recent election happening in May 2011. The Council is currently controlled by the Conservatives, who hold 35 of the 39 seats, while 4 Labour councillors represent wards in the Borehamwood area.
REQUIREMENT
The Conference Hall required a full conferencing solution to allow for multilanguage translation, fixed delegate units with LCD display screen for messages and that were in-keeping with the environment. Also 12 language translation booths and 1,500 listening posts for the translation of the meeting into the tiered seating. The meetings are to be webcasted, televised and displayed on large screen monitors around the hall.
